Where it all started — and why it still works.

Urbanism Furniture began in 1997 in a corrugated metal hut just off 17th Street in Costa Mesa, with six floor samples and a Saturday-only schedule. Nearly 30 years later, we've grown into a 10,000-square-foot warehouse boutique in the same hut park — but the original promise hasn't changed: real furniture, real designers, real value, and zero retail theater. Customers refer their friends, their friends refer theirs. That's how we got here.
