How Does It All Work??

We are a no frills, warehouse environment. We strive to provide you a rewarding and fun shopping experience. We want you to love your purchases. So, take a moment to review our policies…

Deliveries and Pickups

All deliveries are handled with an outside, professional delivery service. Prices may vary according to location, number and size of items, and setup fees (if any). We strongly recommend delivery service for your safety and security (we have heard too many “it fell out of the back” stories).

  • Large items (e.g. armoires) and non-standard deliveries (e.g. stairs) will be an additional charge
  • The delivery service will call you with the date and time window for your delivery
  • Customers must call before a pickup from Urbanism. Due to liability reasons, furniture can only be released to a customer if arranged ahead of time. You must bring all moving materials with you (e.g. rope, blankets, etc.) and we will not be able to provide loading assistance.
 

Our designated pickup days are: Mon/Wed/Sat between 1 and 4 pm

 

Product Delivery Time is based on industry averages. We do our best to provide you with our best estimate, based upon our manufacturers latest information. However, delays to occur and are out of our control. We do not offer any monetary compensation due to delays or discontinued fabrics. But don’t worry, we will call you if your items come in early so you can get your furniture as soon as possible.

Cancellations and Returns

If for any reason you want to make a change or cancel your order, you have 3 business days from the date of your invoice to do so. The incredible values we provide you mean that we do not allow us to accept any returns or exchanges. Therefore, please make sure to make accurate measurements at your home (doorways can be narrow). We cannot know and are not responsible for any size limitations. Also, make sure your color selection, style, etc. fit your needs.

Any merchandise that arrives with damage will be returned to the manufacturer. This may cause a delay in your delivery time frame. All damaged merchandise must be reported to Urbanism within 72 hours of receipt at your home. Color, finish and dye lots can vary but we do our best to match your needs as closely as possible.

Customer Service

Due to manufacturer policies, we are unable to provide status reports on your order. Please do not call for status until the week of your anticipated delivery.

Warranties

To continue to be able to provide the best value possible, Urbanism does not offer any warranties and all sales are final. Fabric, leather and wood protectant warranties are offered through our service partner for those that purchase a protectant plan.
